May your disappearings be many and free from guilt.

I don't know if this is helpful, but I've found in my own life that sometimes I'm enjoying that sort of daily time with God, and sometimes God is leading me forward with the excitement of learning and sharing what I've learned, and sometimes I have no time for either but God is intensely present when I sing my favorite hymns in the midst of the chaos, and sometimes God seems utterly absent. And *all* of these are part of how God is helping me to grow.

So there are times when I was filled with regret over not maintaining a "consistent" devotional life -- or over not learning and sharing as much as I had been -- but that was exactly appropriate to that season, and God was growing me in a very different way.
